Friday was Cameron's birthday! We had a super fun day with her. We went to Build-A-Bear and out to lunch and had her favorite thing for dinner, noodles! :) And after dinner all our family came over to help celebrate with us! Cameron is really into the Disney Princesses so, naturally, her cake had to be a princess cake! Her cake does have an interesting story though. She got 2 cakes! I made one Thursday night so I wouldn't have to worry about it on her special day. Well, before we went to Build-A-Bear I noticed that a light needed to be changed in our kitchen. Alex changed it and we went on with our day. We came home before lunch for a nap and right after we put her down the light fixture fell off the ceiling and broke into a bunch of pieces on our CARPET (I didn't think it would break falling on the carpet) and glass bounced into our sink, on our counter, on the beautifully decorated cake and on our freshly washed dishes. :S So, I called my mom up in hysterics asking to use her vacuum to clean up the glass and telling her that the cake that I had spent 3+ hours on the night before was ruined. :'( She offered to bake a cake while I cleaned up the glass and then brought it over for me to frost. Luckily, I had left over frosting from the first cake and was able to make an, almost, exact replica of the first cake. Thank Heavens for my mom! :) Other than that little fiasco we had a great day!
The first cake.
And here's cake #2. Cinderella's carriage on both cakes was made out of Rice Krispie treats.
Happy Birthday little lady!
At Build-A-Bear. She made a bunny and named her "Rora"
