Happy Birthday Carson!

I know I'm a little late on getting this put on here. I've been a bit of a slacker lately. Haha!! Anyways, August 17th was my best friend's, Carson Draper, birthday. As many of you know, Carson died in a car crash up American Fork Canyon on September 13, 2003. As did my other best friend Brent Pierce. Brent, Carson, myself and two other girls/friends of mine (Ashlee and Brandy) went up the canyon to Tibble Fork Reservoir on Sept. 13. As we were coming down the canyon Brent, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a tree. This killed both Brent and Carson. Carson is actually the reason that I am alive. He was sitting in the middle of the back seat of the vehicle and as we crashed he wrapped his arm around me and my friend Ashlee (who were on either side of him) and pulled us into his lap, saving both our lives but loosing his own. Only one girl, Brandy, was wearing her seatbelt. Had Carson not done that I would most likely have been thrown from the vehicle and severely hurt, if not killed. But by him doing this, the only physical injury I suffered from was a broken jaw in 3 different places. Though mentally, I've suffered much more. Anyways, enough sad stuff.
