Eric, Amber and their kids gave me a gift card to Joann's Fabric and Craft Store for my birthday in September. I have been wanting to make me a new skirt for a long time but haven't been too happy with my weight and wanted to loose a few inches before I made me one. Well, since I've been doing Winter Guard this year I've lost a few inches and went and got me some fabric for a new skirt. I was saving this gift card for this reason!! Thanks guys!! :) The pattern that I have is super easy!!! I was able to make this skirt in one day!! I'm pretty excited about it. I've been feeling like I've been wearing the same skirt to church every week with a different shirt. Now I have a skirt that fits and that isn't the same old thing! I absolutely love the fabric!!! Alex really likes it too!
This is the finished product!! I'm actually wearing the skirt in this picture.

The skirt with one of my pink shirts!!!

With one of my green shirts. Alex told me to strike a pose. Hehehe! Which shirt looks better?!?!

Just the skirt (not on, it doesn't look quite right. Good thing it's cuter on!) :)
That is cute Fabric. I love it. You did a good job.
ReplyDeleteTotally cute fabric. I think I like the pink shirt better, but the green looks cute too.
ReplyDeleteVERY cute! You did a great job...I like the green shirt better...it's more flattering!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I need to start making some clothes! Have you made any other clothes since you've been married? I'm going to copy you.:) By the way, I think that skirt looked great with both shirts!
ReplyDeleteDanielle, I've made some pajama pants for Christmas. That's about it. I have a couple patterns for capris and stuff. It's pretty fun!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that fabric. The green shirt is much better looking with the skirt. It forms to you and totally looks cute. I do like the pink shirt though. :)
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love pink I am going to have to vote for green on this one. Very cute skirt sweetie!
